Hey everyone, I hope you all are doing awesome and making great gains in your fitness goals.
Here we are in part 2 of building your Daytona Beach Bikini Body. In part 1 I covered the importance of nutrition and understanding that what you fuel your body with will make or break your fitness goals. You can train and exercise until pass out with a dumbbell in your hand, but if you don’t eat the correct foods, you’ll never make the true progress you’re missing.

Now in part 2 of getting that bikini body, I will cover the training aspect. I want you to remember that not all training and not all exercise is created equal. Keep reading and you will find out how to effectively use your time to burn the most calories possible. I want you to see how intensity interval training that combines both your resistance training and your cardio training is the PERFECT formula for a lean tummy to show off at the beach this summer.
So what do I mean by intensity interval training?
Intensity interval training, also known as metabolic training which is now made mainstream by the infamous Jillian Michaels, is a training strategy that varies your heart rate throughout the workout by changing the intensity level.
So what does varying your heart rate and intensity level really do for you?
By raising your heart rate, bringing it back down and then elevating it again, we create a scenario that forces your body to respond by jacking your metabolism way up high!!! This can be accomplished by precisely placing your exercises in order that maximizes your training effort. Why run/jog for 40 minutes when you actually can get a better fat burning workout in 15 to 20 minutes with a specially designed interval training workout?
Plus, it’s not boring this way… Boring sucks.
I hate running. The body wasn’t designed for endurance running. Short bursts for survival, yes… but not marathon distances. Now, I’m not saying running marathons are bad… just that the body wasn’t designed for it. So why not workout more efficiently with metabolic style training?
Boot camp style workouts are a perfect example of metabolic and intensity interval training. I incorporate cardio style movements with body weight exercises with other resistance training. I kick your ass…
But my girls love me for it, because it works? I get the evil eye. I get the grunts & complaints during the boot camp class. But after it’s all done, I get smiles, high-fives and thank you’s.

Jen lost 77 lbs!!!
From one exercise to the next to the next, the boot camp training is effective for burning off that fat and getting you into that beach bikini that you want this summer.
